courtwade 12 Posted December 20, 2018 How much has everyone lost? I’ve lost 19 lbs in 22 days and am feeling great. No more huffing and puffing around. I have tons of energy and am starting to feel attractive again. What are some positives everyone else is noticing? 1 paddyski reacted to this

I have tons of energy and am starting to feel attractive again. What are some positives everyone else is noticing? Since surgery on 11/26 (23 days) I've lost 11 lbs. I went through a 2 week stall though, so I try not to think of it post surgery. I started trying to lose weight on 10/17 and since then I've lost 32 lbs - that's 16 lbs a month, which I'm ecstatic about! Biggest change I've noticed is that hygiene is easier (I have an autoimmune condition that gives me a lot of back inflammation, but changing my diet has helped that tremendously) - I can twist easier. Majorly life changing. Also, even drained from surgery, I notice more energy when I'm running errands AND - I have more energy to clean my house! It actually feels fun/rewarding now instead of feeling painful and like a chore 😊 3 jesseycakes, paddyski and courtwade reacted to this

I tested positive for sleep apnea before surgery so I’m really hoping I’m not snoring anymore either. Unfortunately my hubby snores louder than me so I’m not sure he would notice if my snoring has stopped. 2 paddyski and jesseycakes reacted to this

I don’t take a nap during the day when my daughter naps any more. 1 paddyski reacted to this

Miss_Kee 23 Posted December 20, 2018 Hi everyone, I went to the infusion center on Tuesday and I feel so much better. I’m scheduled for a upper gi test today just to make sure everything is okay. Thanks for those that check on me. I definitely appreciate it. 3 1 paddyski, dreamingofasleeve, Starry*Night and 1 other reacted to this

I have tons of energy and am starting to feel attractive again. What are some positives everyone else is noticing? I was sleeved 11/6 and I am down exactly 20 lbs since surgery. I'm down more than 60 lbs since starting this journey earlier this year. My post-surgery progress has been slower than I'd like, I've had two really prolonged stalls (10+ days) but I keep telling myself consistency pays off. I've got to increase my exercise, I know that'll help a lot. I've had a very easy recovery (minus the first week) though so overall, I am really happy! 2 paddyski and jesseycakes reacted to this
kristian35 13 Posted December 20, 2018 I was sleeved 11/1 and today I have reached 30lbs since surgery. They weight loss has not really stalled, but is slower this last month. I also need to pick up on the exercise. I severely sprained my ankle 2 weeks after surgery so that has been limited to physical therapy 2 times a week. Hoping to hit the gym starting next week. Keep up the good work!!!
dreamingofasleeve 89 Posted December 20, 2018 Has anyone had super Rosy flushed cheeks since surgery? I am a month out and my face gets so Rosy [emoji30]Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using BariatricPal mobile app

tbair 7 Posted December 21, 2018 I had my post op appt yesterday, I was sleeved on 11/19 & lost 17lbs! I was genuinely surprised. I know my clothes are fitting looser, but I’m trying not to focus too much on my weight right now and focus on more of the nutrition. I can’t believe how much more energy I have and how much better I feel walking. I’m so excited to see how the next year goes. Has anyone made any yummy recipes for the soft stage? I feel like I’ve been boring and sticking to chicken, cheese sticks, yogurt & chili mostly. I need a little variety the next few weeks! 1 dreamingofasleeve reacted to this

This isn't super exciting, but I love ground turkey with shredded fat free mozzarella cheese sprinkled on top. Tastes like a cheeseburger!! 1 paddyski reacted to this
