AnchorsAwayL0v3 1 Posted September 23, 2018 My surgery was 09/12/18 and I’m having problems drinking nearly enough Water. I’m only on a liquid diet still. I need ideas. Help? I don’t want to become dehydrated but flavor packets also don’t do anything for me when it comes to water.
macadamia 591 Posted September 23, 2018 I set a timer on my Apple Watch that goes off every 15 minutes. I sip Water every time it goes off, unless I'm eating. This has helped me maintain my water intake. And, for flavoring, I use Mio strawberry Watermelon flavoring. A couple of squirts in my water glass and I'm all set. Tap water where I live has a funny aftertaste and I do not like to spend money on bottled water, so it helps me. 1 AnchorsAwayL0v3 reacted to this
wjgo 272 Posted September 23, 2018 Soon after surgery, its harder to get all the Water in. But by this time, I was getting 64 oz in. You need to start as soon as you get up. And sip, sip sip all day. Don't forget to count everything you eat that is a liquid, as a liquid. If you consume a 11 oz Protein Drink, that also counts for 11 oz of water. 2 Orchids&Dragons and AnchorsAwayL0v3 reacted to this

BostonWLKC 807 Posted September 24, 2018 Flavored Decaf tea helps... and sugar free popsicles :). Each popsicle is like 2 ounces haha
