MIZ60 1,291 Posted October 19, 2018 People at work constantly say MIZ (last name) rather than Mrs. (last name) and I turned 60 a few months before surgery. I am not very imaginative or creative. 2 ProudGrammy and clsumrall reacted to this
toobigtobeallowed 15 Posted October 27, 2018 I was bullied for my size when I was a child and turned to Harry Potter for comfort. One phrase used to describe Hagrid resonated with me - he appeared "simply too big to be allowed". It summed up how my peers made me feel, and how I have continued to feel ever since. I'm now taking a two prong approach to feel better about myself - a sleeve on the 9th to fix the physical, and a psych every fortnight to fix the mental.Sent from my SM-G930F using BariatricPal mobile app 1 1 1 LadySin, ProudGrammy and ElectricBoogaloo reacted to this

Walter.Sobchak 978 Posted October 27, 2018 Walter Sobchak is a character from The Big Lebowski. One of my all time favorite movies. John Goodman portrays him and should have won an academy award for how well he plays the part. He is a Vietnam veteran with serious PTSD and just an awesome character. 2 ProudGrammy and GettinSkinnywithit reacted to this
Frustr8 7,886 Posted October 27, 2018 Remember he converted to Judaism and Lebowski pokes fun at him for it. John Further I asked that the Coen Brothers make a movie or series with his" Jesus the Bowler "character. They refused, Big Lebowski is Tomkitten's favorite all-time movie, if I have seen the Lebowski head in Too let Bowl scene once , it is 1000 times. Last time he found it, started watching it I sceamed" Sweet Harriet in Heaven, NOT AGAIN!" Glib Glug there goes the head again!

Frustr8 7,886 Posted October 27, 2018 And if anyone is curious why,my avatar,is K instead of F? My legal first name is Karen, but when I joined BP there were several Karen's of different types here. So I started out with my Gmail address then after a few months, it no longer worked, told Ken, Alex and company You all make Me Frustr8ed! and Frustr8,was born. Kinda like,it once I got used to it.😝🚩😝 1 1 LadySin and ProudGrammy reacted to this

Just so many good lines and memorable quotes. The dialogue is what makes it so good, along with the awesome job they did in casting the characters.

ForMyChildren 11 Posted October 28, 2018 I am doing this to be a better me for my children as I had children later in life. Their dad and I are no longer together and if I leave this world I don’t trust him to step up. My real name is Lisa. 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this
Frustr8 7,886 Posted October 28, 2018 F.M.C., please do me a courtesy. Your post jogged my memories and sometimes they are not good. Okay? Please reassure your children it is not their fault, you and Daddy are not together. I am an only child and for years I believed it was My Fault. I was so terrible a child that they never wanted another. So I spent, most of my childhood and part of my youth trying to make it up to them. I wanted to be so perfect that they never would regret having me. I was 15 or 16 before I found out I was a miracle, the baby, doctors thought she would never have. Why wasn't. I told sooner? Brace yourself for this- my Daddy thought it wouldn't matter to ME. So keep all your lines of communication open, the ❤ you keep from breaking might be your child's.Nuff said? 1 1 Alpaca55 and LadySin reacted to this
ALFxRNY 540 Posted October 28, 2018 Originally, I had my usual which was my actual first and middle name. I changed it because I was doing everything in secret and didn’t want to be tracked by any nosy people I might know. So it became my initials x my procedure. Nothing fancy
