Zola 6 Posted September 12, 2018 Hi Friends, My surgery was a month ago. I lost quite fast the first 2.5 weeks (23 lbs.). I stopped losing since then. I go to the gym almost every day for kickboxing classes and treadmill and have been eating based on the guidelines (even less). Is it common to plateau on weeks 3 and 4 after a large weight loss in the first two weeks or am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

It's very common, a quick search will generate more posts than you can shake a stick at. Are you following your doctor/nutritionist's plans? If so, then you are doing everything you should be. If not... then you really should be following their plan. Make sure your Water is upwards of 128oz a day, make sure your calorie count is high enough to support your exercising otherwise you can force your body into conservation mode. Less isn't always more. 1 KimTriesRNY reacted to this
