alioolala 57 Posted September 10, 2018 I’m about 7 weeks out and for the last several weeks I’ve lost about 2lbs a week on average. I understand this isn’t a miracle surgery and I’m happy for the weight loss regardless but I can’t help but think that’s about how much weight I would lose when I was dieting on and off for years before surgery. I’m getting all my Protein, drinking Water constantly and hitting the gym 5-6 days a week for an hr mixing strength training and cardio. Anyone else experiencing this or has in the past? When did the “rapid weight loss” pick back up? Everyone's weight loss is different. But weight loss does and will slow down as you get smaller. This is because your BMI is reducing as you age and as you get lighter.
