Biddy zz 🏳️🌈 1,004 Posted September 7, 2018 Hi @logicwand So I am only 9 months out, so I can only comment on stabilising as it relates to ‘stop losing post-surgery’. I pretty much levelled out at 6 months. I really worked my programme, my starting weight and height are within cooee of yours. So before the 6 months was up I was below my goal weight and have held pretty steady for the last three months. I see your timeline - how is your weight loss going now, 1 logicwand reacted to this
logicwand 269 Posted September 20, 2018 I'm thinking I've hit my "new normal" weight 7 months after surgery. I've been hovering around 149 for a month now. It's the first time since surgery I haven't lost and actually saw myself gain a pound. I was 149 three weeks ago and then I was 150, now I'm 149 again. I think a goal weight of 130 is probably unrealistic. 20 pounds seems like a lot to go now. Haha. Maybe I should consider 140 and just continue watching what I eat, making sure I get enough Water and sleep, and continue to exercise. Ughh. I was hoping the weight loss results wouldn't stop 6 months out but I know I didn't have as much to lose.
Krista27 341 Posted September 21, 2018 I was thinking the same thing and was kinda bummed. I thought I was done losing. I had stayed at the same weight for over a month and a half. But then I jumped on the scale today and had last 5lbs. I just feel like I am losing at a much slower speed now. 1 logicwand reacted to this

I hope that's what happens to me! Haha. That's so terrific. It's great to know that your body is still wanting to shed those pounds and you're not done yet. I think doctors consider your weight as stabilized if you stay around the same weight for at least 6 months.

I started doing Keto and going to the gym 3 times a week. My workout: 20 minute Cardio (I try to do at least a mile) Dynamic Stretches (bear crawls, frog jumps, inch worm) Strength training (squats, lunges and all arm exercises are weighted.) Another 20 minutes are cardio (my second mile) Stretch and go home My workout is never the same. Maybe download the Nike fit app great workouts for all levels on there.
