Ginger-Snap 27 Posted September 6, 2018 Hey All! I just signed up today after viewing the topics for about a week. I just had my sleeve surgery Tuesday (9/4). I have had several surgeries in the past (C sections, gallbladder, hysterectomy...) so the pain and recovery is expected. I am just surprised at the difficultly I’m having with trying to drink liquids. But I am looking forward to the journey ahead. 1 TropicalBeachDoll reacted to this
Orchids&Dragons 9,047 Posted September 6, 2018 Welcome to the forums. This is a very friendly and supportive community! Congrats on your successful surgery and hope you continue to recover well. Drinking will get easier as the swelling in your throat/stomach subsides. Right now, the Water has to trickle through very small openings, but that will get better day by day. Best of luck on your journey! 1 Ginger-Snap reacted to this
J San 1,071 Posted September 6, 2018 Welcome and Congrats on your surgery. New things (post surgery new) you try may be a bit tough at first. It's going to all be a new experience but in time will you get used to it and it will get easier. 1 1 Orchids&Dragons and Ginger-Snap reacted to this
