Yes, absolutely, but there must be a difference in the Protein processing and affect.... I cant imagine they would tell us this for no reason.

You'd be surprised. Just because someone is a doctor, doesn't mean they are correct.
*ALL* whey is sourced from Cow Milk. Whey concentrate and whey isolate are processed differently and Isolate is a much more pure form of the Protein and has most (if not all) lactose removed from it. But, it's all still sourced from the exact same location. The statement of staying away from milk protein, but use whey, is just an incorrect statement from start to finish, that's like saying, Stay away from H2O, make sure to drink DiHydrogen Monoxide. They are the same thing.

I use whey, Soy or Pea during the day, and Casein before bed.

I’m hella picky my husband hates it and I got off Protein Shakes for awhile but I need to get back on them. Best milk chocolate Protein that aren’t gritty for picky butts like my self?I’m also juicing! I’m losing weight still but I’ve got to get better.

Isagenix chocolate -- hands down the best Protein Shake I've ever had and it has 24g. It's not gritty when shaken in a blender ball bottle, but I actually prefer it blended with 8-10 ice cubes and 8-10 oz. Water. The less water you use the more it blends up in the same consistency as a Wendy's frosty. Soy & gluten free. I don't sell it but I love them.

I'm totally picky too. I can't stand the Premier Protein. What I have found that's the best tasting in the Syntrax Nectar Sweets chocolate Truffle. I just mix a scoop with 1 cup of my skim milk for 31 grams of Protein. It's very smooth and doesn't have that protein after taste. It's kind of spendy but worth it. You can actually buy it in one serving packets for $1.99 to try it first before buying the 2 pound container. Good luck!

I liked both Ensure Max and during the day I put Premiere Protein peach flavored into my iced caffeine-free tea. Just a splash and by the end of the day I've done in one bottle. That is 50g of protein. The rest is easy.

Premier Protein started tasking nasty to me so I tried the Fairlife Core Power Protein Drinks, they don't have any Protein Powder in them, they are literally just milk. but if I need some extra Protein they have 26 grams. They taste like chocolate milk and are really good. I can't stand most protein drinks.

I'm going to recommend legion Protein powder. It's awesome and doesn't have chemicals.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
