Same, Have had omelette with cheese with no issues. Have also had fried, hard boiled and poached. All of them I was fine with. Good luck and Enjoy!!!

Oh yes, I did eat them and it was wonderful. I had no issues, just make sure to chew. ;)

Yes, but not the fluffy kind - I used to whip the whites, add the yolks back in and use that for the omelette base, but these days I just do rolled egg omelettes. Can't handle the air anymore. eggs fill me right up, even just one.

eggs are one of my favorite things and have been since that glorious day about 3 weeks post-op when I could have a scrambled egg. (OK - I was able to eat two bites of it before I was full but it was the best scrambled egg I had ever had!) I order them when I'm out frequently because I can get my Protein and some veg in that way (in fact I had one for lunch today - with cheese, spinach and mushrooms). I prefer them flat to fluffy even now 2 years out.

Yeah, that's my go-to. Probably started them a little early (4 weeks) but I didn't see much difference between them and scrambled eggs with cheese and meat.

I love egg white omelets, especially with veggies and feta cheese. :)

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
