rebchief 52 Posted August 26, 2018 Hey all— I am 5 days post op from sleeve surgery. I finally was able to sleep on both sides and slight stomach sleep last night. I wake up this morning to sharp pain on right side under rib cage with pain radiating to neck/shoulder of same side. Have a hard time taking a deep breath but can if done slowly. No nausea. Sipping Water so far today is fine. Started full liquid stage yesterday which included some Protein Drink, egg drop Soup (sans the egg,) sugar free popsicles and since it was my birthday, a small container of sugar free Jello pudding. Had no issues with any of that yesterday. Thoughts?
Wintereyes 17 Posted August 26, 2018 (edited) Sounds like gas to me. I would call your doctor just in case, also you ask if you can have gas-x. Happy birthday I hope your out of pain soon. J San 1,071 Posted August 26, 2018 I agree maybe gas trapped while you were in different positions sleeping. Try stretching slowly while walking to see if it moves or goes away. Hope it does not last long. Also a huge HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you sir!!!!! Mine was nine days post surgery. 1 rebchief reacted to this
