@Frustr8 lol i love your posts😁
" Actually the studies were for 10% “overweight” so 10% over the top of the range.
But you do you! And your BP should definitely be a guide. But for me, no, I honestly don’t feel different at 135 and at 160. I do believe those are vanity pounds not health pounds. "
Thanks for clarifying this @jess9395! So my RDs position is correct. Good and interesting to know you felt no difference with 25extra pounds on you! That's amazing, honestly.
Yes, I can only do me. I do think there are vanity issues mixed with my desire to be in normal weight zone. I also hope to be as low as I healthily can to ease pain and maybe help the bp. I don't know about that though, since I have heart damage from chemo/radiation and also have a familial blood pressure issue. My skinny sissy is ideal weight and still has super high bp. So did our mom.
I’m 5’6” so yeah 25lbs ain’t no thing when you’re talking 135 to 160. Those are my vanity pounds. Heck if I put my mind to it I could drop to 125, but why?On 08/27/2018 at 05:07, FluffyChix said:

I do hope your health can get to a state where you are happy and comfortable! I know you have had a lot of struggles. And those studies are population studies not individual so they should always be taken with a grain of salt!
Thanks lady!! ((hugs)) I do feel so much better than I did 120lbs ago, that's for sure. But I feel like I can do better and feel even better if I continue the journey.
I just think now is the time (if any) to really push to get those answers. DO I feel better at 130 or 140? I could never answer that question for myself before. You know?
Lost all excess weight and then some so I've been sitting at my goal weight for a year now.
You can lose however much you want as long as you use the surgery properly and don't just rely on the physical restriction effect because you'll eventually figure out ways to eat around that if you try. Take advantage of the first few months to teach yourself new, healthy eating habits and you're set.
5'3" (or 5'4" long story) 250lbs at consult (but down over 100lbs from highest weight ever 270) down 89lbs so far
Tentative goal of 150, currently 160
I think its better than average for VSG

No today is her 6 month Surgiversity, she had hers February 26. I will have a RNY September 5th, if one of my doctors is correct I am carrying a NFL quarterback worth of weight around. I 'll be happy to drop him off at the nearest stadium. Pre surgery my losses have,mot,be sizable but still they have been losses, not as much as a large bag of flour at Sam's Club,but I have tried.
