Wintereyes 17 Posted August 22, 2018 I have edema in both legs- my left is much worse, I take Lasix- 40mg. it has gone down slightly since my surgery on 8/6. I tried oils, massage, wrapping, also a machine called Verso that only fit on my foot it was meant to fit on the calf but that def. wouldn't happen. I wonder if the people who made the product even know what edema does. I was wondering if anyone else has seen a big improvement after weight loss, I really hope that it goes away. Thanks for any thoughts.

Thanks for any thoughts. I had surgery 3 months ago and I have to say my lymphedema has went down about 50 %. Some days it is a little bigger but it has really improved. There is a thing called dry brushing that might help and I'm gonna try it. 1 clsumrall reacted to this
Frustr8 7,886 Posted August 22, 2018 I am a lymphedema sufferer. Lets be real quiet right now they are less swollen. At any rate I will have Rny surgery and I will update. if it progressively gets better. I have a theory on what's causing mine. and we will See if I am right. I think my belly fat weight blocks the lymph cannels from draining right. But we shall see, shall we? 2 Spellbound and Sunshineprincess reacted to this

Sunshineprincess 58 Posted August 24, 2018 When I looked into it online it said weight does cause thwm not to drain properly. So you are absolutely correct :-)
