Njgurl 14 Posted August 22, 2018 I had my surgery on February 7th 2018, I am almost 7 month post op and just curious about when this honeymoon phase will end. Does anybody remember what month they were in when their loss began too slow, stop, or become a lot harder.
deargh 52 Posted August 22, 2018 It varies from person to person but my surgeon said he would expect me to lose the majority of my excess weight within the first year!
YeahOkay31 651 Posted August 22, 2018 honeymoon period is considered the first 6 months, I believe. I will be 4 months in a week and I am noticing a little bit of a slow down. I lost 28 pounds my first month, than 15 pounds a month for two and three. Looks like it will only be 10 pounds for month four.

Sometimes I wonder if it has less to do with the time and more to do with how much weight you've lost thus far. 2 Orchids&Dragons and Matt Z reacted to this

How overweight you started at, why you were overweight in the first place, genetics, etc etc etc. 1 kygirl68 reacted to this
magpie26 244 Posted August 25, 2018 If my honeymoon period is winding down now I'm seriously going to punch a ho! I'm 60 pounds from goal and kicking my own butt and only 4.5 months! I've only lost like 5 pounds or less last month! 1 clsumrall reacted to this
