PrupleSleeve 15 Posted August 20, 2018 Good morning. I am 90 days post op, have had not one issue, surgery was a piece of cake, recovery was totally painless and up until the past two or three weeks..........its been a breeze. Now, when I eat, regardless of what I eat, I feel nauseated, almost as soon as it hits my stomach. I am eating small amounts, chewing as directed, etc. Anyone have any idea's as to what would be causing this at this point???? Never thrown up, just get nauseated. Thanks for any input!! Orchids&Dragons 9,047 Posted August 20, 2018 When this happens, try a Tums. Sometimes our acid jets turn on full speed into our tiny little stomachs. For me it can start just as soon as the food hits the stomach. Are you on a PPI? I am and still need the Tums sometimes.
TakingABreak 2,733 Posted August 20, 2018 Following. I also feel this way, sometimes for long lengths of time. I've been on a PPI of 40 daily since surgery.
ScoutCR 126 Posted August 21, 2018 I feel this way every time I eat 1-2 bites too much of anything. I found chicken and shrimp are my safe Proteins and are easily digested.
PrupleSleeve 15 Posted August 21, 2018 Yes, still taking a PPI every morning with my vitimans. Funny...ground beef is about the only thing that doesn't bother me. I'll keep chugging along...hopefully between the tums and the omeprazole it will settle down! Thanks for the input!
