bluebutterfly 60 Posted August 29, 2018 I’m 42 was sleeved the end of May this year, so I’m right at 12 weeks out and down 60 pounds as of this morning. Parts have been difficult but no regrets. Think I did the surgery at the right time in order for me to be successful... If I would have done it sooner I’m not sure I would have been as committed 1 1 Jackie07 and AdiosAnnie300 reacted to this
kozyjozie 108 Posted August 29, 2018 Was sleeved at 45. I’ve put some of the weight on. But I have been taking it off. It’s a struggle. I can’t tell you how hard it is to lose the weight. If you are doing the surgery now. Watch your wright. Don’t let it get out of hand and exercise daily. I lost the interest in exercising daily and did it once or twice a week. So I gained weight. Now I exercise daily every morning and watch what I eat. No carbs. Get my Water and Protein in daily. Good luck everyone. 1 Jackie07 reacted to this
kozyjozie 108 Posted August 29, 2018 Three years after the surgery I have put on the weight. But thank goodness I’m coming back down. It’s a real struggle.

ThatGirl2121 11 Posted August 30, 2018 I’m 46 and was sleeved 5/21. Have lost almost 60 pounds today. Definitely wish I had done it in my youth. I still have great years ahead, but sometimes feel like my youth was wasted. So many years of limiting myself due to my weight. 3 Jackie07, Bigman12345 and sillykitty reacted to this

balrog429 16 Posted August 30, 2018 I’m 41 and haven’t been sleeved yet. My date is September 7th so it’s getting close. I previously had the lap band but the complications forced me to have it removed. Looking forward to this new stage. 1 Jackie07 reacted to this

kozyjozie 108 Posted August 30, 2018 Thank you fristr8. I’m doing this in 20 pound intervals. I have will and determination. And most of all I have faith. I want to be healthy. Thank you for all the inspiration I get here. The support is much needed. 1 laughinglaurie1@yahoo.com reacted to this
skylw6 153 Posted August 31, 2018 I am 44 and was sleeved 7/26/18. I am down 36 pounds. I also wish I had done this sooner! The first three weeks were tough for me. Getting the fluids and Protein in was a real struggle. Then after week 3, I turned a corner. Nausea went away after my Protein Shakes. I started working out. Energy levels went up! I can still only get about 3 table spoons of food in at a meal but the nutritionist is ok with that as long as I meet my protein and fluid goals and take my Vitamins. It's normal to get nervous, be excited and wary all at the same time! Congratulations on your decision to maximize your health! Good Luck with your journeys! 2 Jackie07 and Ntrejo1976 reacted to this

Wondering how being sleeved has affected your life at this age. Do you wish you were sleeved sooner? Biggest regreat was not getting it done sooner. I had my surgery last year.. I was 40.. no big deal.. I had no issues at all.. down from 405 to 205.. I havent lost weight for last 4 months.. but doing tons of crossfit.. so I guess not loosing but gaining muscle.. best of luck pal 5 1 Ntrejo1976, Bigman12345, Jackie07 and 3 others reacted to this

I didn’t even do that when I was 20. 4 BINABINA25, Ntrejo1976, Jackie07 and 1 other reacted to this
