AggiG 176 Posted August 17, 2018 I haven't had my surgery yet but was wondering if anyone had tried baby foods for their puree meals? I'm just curious.

Baby food is a pureed food, so it is ok to use. Just have to watch the sugar and sodium. But it's fine to use. We were advised we could use them if we wanted to. 2 AggiG and Frustr8 reacted to this
Frustr8 7,886 Posted September 10, 2018 Yeah it is listed on my Stage #2 plan also, it even gives you the varities that are good. Like what to look for.
caryla 17 Posted January 1, 2019 Soo, I don’t have that baby food stage #2 list. Can you give me some ideas what you can eat?
notmyname 593 Posted January 1, 2019 I didn't. Before I had surgery, I made my own purees and froze them in 1/2 cup batches. Black Beans, sweet potatoes, spinach, and butternut squash (note that I didn't like the BN squash). Then I'd just make sure I had a couple containers in the fridge at all times. It was really, really useful and cheaper than baby foods.
