KRush88 105 Posted August 16, 2018 Stay away from the scale if you can. It will drive you insane. Try to look at your body in the mirror everyday instead of a number on the scale everyday. See if you can see a difference in the mirror instead of on the scale. Try weighing in every week or two. Take pictures every week with different clothes on. 3 1 Auroragirl4489, AEdoesRnY, GreenTealael and 1 other reacted to this
Healthy_life 1,437 Posted August 16, 2018 Sorry the scale is making you crazy. people choose how to approach their relationship with the scale. Some weigh everyday while others wait longer intervals. Your body is still healing. Surgery 8/5/18. Your body needs a bit of time. The scale will be moving soon 2 bridgit Brooks Lentz and Frustr8 reacted to this
J San 1,071 Posted August 16, 2018 I weigh myself every morning as part of my tracking. Just like I track my intake of food I track my weight. They go hand in hand in my eyes. Gain weight, look back at what you ate the day before...Lose weight, look back at what you ate the day before. It allows me to see what is doing what and where or if I need to make adjustments. I know some people lose their sh*t when they don't lose but if you don't know that eating certain foods made you gain the weight how will you know what to change. It may not work for others but for me it's what I need to do. Really sucks that the scale affects you this way. Make sure you do what works for you physically and mentally. If looking in the mirror and watching the results works more power to you. I however cannot see a difference in the mirror. I take pictures of my reflection every few weeks in the same poses and compare them and honestly just don't see any difference. That frustrates me. Good luck to you on your journey!!!!! 1 Frustr8 reacted to this
KRush88 105 Posted August 16, 2018 Awww thanks guys but this was not a post for me. Me and the scale are in love actually. 10 pounds down. This post was for the people I see on here struggling with stalls. Thanks for the encouragement though. 1 Frustr8 reacted to this
