nume130 0 Posted November 9, 2007 I am trying to get up to 1200 calories per day. I have only made it once but I am aiming for it. I really don't want to lose too fast. I think that if I do my skin will be a problem. Anyway, rarely hungry and it is great! I use my plate to count calories.

Boo Boo Kitty 3 Posted November 10, 2007 I use the USDA site to track calories. It also breaks down all nutrient requirements such as protien, Vitamins ect. You can also do exercise. It is free. USDA - CNPP - MyPyramid Tracker

jmarruda 22 Posted November 10, 2007 I eat anywhere from 1500-2000 calories a day depending on what my activity level is like. Like losing said, I get really light headed and shaky if I eat 1500 calories, then go to my spin class and work out with my trainer for an hour. I need the extra calories, sometimes I even have to bring a snack (protein bar or string cheese) with me to the gym to have in between sessions. There are some days when I do nothing at all, so I try to limit my intake on those days...the lowest I have ever been is around 1300 calories. Any less and I starve! It also depends who you ask as I have found, my trainer wants me at 2000 calories, my nutritionist wants me at 1800 calories and my surgeon wants me at 1500 calories. I just picked the number in the middle.
anonemouse 1 Posted November 11, 2007 I also vote for Calorie Counter, Diet Tracking, food Journal, Nutrition Facts at The Daily Plate. It's beena lot easier to use than a lot of the other sites I've tried.

salsa1877 10 Posted November 12, 2007 I eat about 1000 calories a day...on a good day. Most of the time I can't get there. I don't count calories everyday, just on the days when I haven't eaten much and need to know what to fix for dinner. I don't diet, and eat whatever I want, just not much of it. For example, we went to the cheesecake factory for lunch this weekend and I ate 2 1/2 pieces of orange chicken, 1/2 piece of bread, and 6 bites of pumpkin cheesecake and I was not hungry for the rest of the day. I actually have to force myself to eat. When I do count calories, I use fitday.com
