Letsgetgoing2018 448 Posted August 12, 2018 Hi all. I was sleeved July 10th. Now down to 213 from 248. I am a single mom of three teenage boys. I’d like to think someday I’ll be able to get into the dating arena again. Focusing on me right now and working the plan with my surgery for the best outcome. Any other single moms out there in my position? It gets lonely sometimes.
Jingle123423 165 Posted August 12, 2018 I am not a single mom anymore, but I was for about 6 years. You'll get there. The best advice I can give is make sure you are in the right headspace. Oh, and think about dating against "your type". I went on a date with somebody I never would have thought would be a match for me, and he ended up being the best guy ever (and is now my husband!). 1 MargoCL reacted to this

Hopefully that day will come for me too. I agree with being in the right headspace. Thanks for the encouragement! 1 Jingle123423 reacted to this
sillykitty 10,776 Posted August 12, 2018 I'm single, but not a mom. I've been dating for what feels like forever, lol. I'm excited to date at the weight I am now. I always projected confidence and never let on to my insecurities due to my weight. But now I actually feel confident, instead of just faking it! 1 MargoCL reacted to this

I hope to gain some confidence over the next few months and start dating. 1 sillykitty reacted to this
