stiney358 9 Posted October 11, 2018 I just ate two stale saltines. I’m so nauseous. Preop I would eat a pickle or something salt and vinegar flavored. Of course the clear pops are a no go. Nothing appeals to me, I went inside the grocery store earlier and had to cover my nose. Name a food for the purée and liquid stage and I guarantee I’ve tried it , liked it once and eventually no longer liked it. I want to take another shot at tuna with miracle whip instead of Greek yogurt. Maybe add a finely smushed egg? I’m nervous because the thought of ANY seafood makes me 🤢. So maybe I should try a couple of spoonfuls of Wendy’s chili and pray. What about chicken? I've seen some of the pouches like the tuna but with chicken. I'm not a big fan of fish either but love chicken.Sent from my Moto Z (2) using BariatricPal mobile app

iattcom 96 Posted October 12, 2018 I have hit my first weight stall I weighed yesterday at 346.8 and today at 348.2 all I had yesterday was a Starbucks tall (which is their small) Americana Decaf with pumpkin spice, a fuzzy navel fruit Protein Shake, some creamy chicken Soup that was Protein filled, and another protein shake along with my water bottle I sipped from all day. This week I had a couple days where it stayed the same or didn't move at all. The next day the scale moved. I weigh everyday which is not good but I want to know what is working and what is not working so far. Maybe it was the about of Fluid. Did you urinate a lot or maybe you might need to number 2. Sorry to be gross. BUT DONT BE DISCOURAGED. I was and I had to snap myself back.
iattcom 96 Posted October 12, 2018 I weigh every day as well and I know I am not supposed to as well. I just do. I am not too concerned with it but it is a notable change.
Frustr8 7,886 Posted October 12, 2018 Only thing I can see and it's probably grasping at straws, condensed Soups are notoriously high in Na also known as Sodium, an Fluid-Bloater of the first Water. FYI fun fact , after being on sodium, low fat, lie-cal, high Protein diet presurgery, they had piggy back sodium on top of normal saline because I was deficient, who would have thought? iattcom 96 Posted October 12, 2018 The Soup was a Baritastic high Protein soup I had lots of Water throughout the day. I think it was just an off scale day. I saw my PCP today and his scale said 350.2 and I had left my shoes on. I am not complaining about that number at all. He was pleased with how well everything was doing and wants to see me again in one month to monitor meds to see what we can lower the doses of or take me off of all together. Kbridge 22 Posted October 13, 2018 My doctor uses the Patch MD vitamin patches instead of pills. I love this as I don’t have to worry about when to take them. Just put a new one on each morning after my shower and wear for 8 hrs. I love this.So do I. I use the Multivitamin but thinking about getting Biotin. They're so easy to use.Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app
Kbridge 22 Posted October 13, 2018 I’m doing the Tespo Bariatric liquid vitamins and my doctor called in a weekly nasal spray B12. Once I started these I started feeling much better!Hello planochick! Kbridge 22 Posted October 13, 2018 The Premier Protein send to more pose a problem for me. I lived in that stuff after my previous surgery last year but after this rny.... it tends to cramp me sooooo bad that it's ridiculous! I hate this because that was my only hope of even getting closer to Protein requirement!Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app

Traveled last week for work and it was tiring! I had my first bite of real food last night and that tiny amount of chicken salad might have been the best thing ever. Super frustrated that the scale didn’t move the whole week I was gone though. Ugh! Like how is that possible. I’m hoping I was swollen from flying. Still some pain on left side but so much better. How are you?

Frustr8 7,886 Posted October 13, 2018 I'm planning on adding some variety the First of the Month when I get paid. Someone said it encourages. facial hair, no big deal , thanks to PCOS, which should be sleeping. because of my age, I have had facial hair since 27, so I need now to shave or pluck more often? At least I will have enough hair to comb instead of arranging with a damp washcloth!💦 1 Kbridge reacted to this
