Glena 0 Posted August 6, 2018 this was my 6th week pass surgery and I have started eating regular food. I am still just eating what I'm supposed to but this week I did not lose any weight at all. In fact I gained 1 pound. I don't understand why I'm still not losing quickly. Did this happen to anyone else.?
Bryn910 519 Posted August 6, 2018 It really takes some time for your body to adjust to this new way of eating and getting nutrients. You may experience some weight gain and even stalls over time but it’s normal. your weight will adjust if you just keep following the routine your surgeon/team put you on. Sucks, but, part of the whole process. 1 sillykitty reacted to this
melody.w 1 Posted August 6, 2018 (edited) Your body is healing and hormones are adjusting. Your body will level off for a couple of weeks and then start loosing again. If it takes longer than 4 weeks, go back to soft foods and Protein Shakes for a reset. Edited August 6, 2018 by melody.w
