Fat Shaming by Medical Practitioners

No the ones I have heard were abdominal and gynecological, and also for urinary suspension.
And I can cite an occurance in my own family, my daddy's family has floating in it HHT, PCP doesn't want to give it credence, butbtoo many brain bleeds and weird bleeding problems to be a coincidence. My Daddy had an arteriovenous anomaly in his colon, knew he was have reoccurent blood loss, our pee-poor local band-aid station of a community hospital was mystified. Ended up in Grant Hospital where they removed 26 inches of colon and stiched him up meshed also, well something went wrong because he healed with a ventral hernia, since,he was in late70-early80s they refused to give him any further surgery, Said "Cliff just live with it" and he did, nasty looking thing, encouraged him not to go shirtless, you could see the internal dehisinance, all that was holding his intestines in was the mesh. He was told if he continued driving NEVER wear a seatbelt, instead if he saw a collision coming roll to the side and onto the floorboards, less chance of rupture that way. And that is why I had a right paramedian instead of a subcostal for my gallbladder/ appendix removal . My surgeon wanted palpate my colon to see if there was anything he could find. Would have preceded a subcostal Mama's healed to a thin white .line.
A somwhat humorous FYI when I met Dr Needleman I would prefer an " open" to him aborting my,laprascopic RnY for any reason. He called me by my birthname, I have a perfectly lovely one that isn't Frustr8, We do 99.9% surgeries as "laps" Do You b really want to heal from an abdominal wound? I flipped up my t-shirt, it runs 3 inches above and 3 inches below just slightly to the right of my navel. He gave a rueful laugh and said " Point well-taken, I WILL remember that!" Valerie the Nurse-Practioner said the score was ME1 Surgeon 0.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
