@macadamia you got this! I am on my liquid diet for 1 week now and 1 more to go. Has anyone experienced leg cramps? Some days it is my whole body. So ready for the 12th.

I’m wrapping up Day 2 of 7 of my pre-op [clear] liquid diet. Are you able to have Protein Shakes? I feel like that’d make a world of difference for me

This was a huge letdown and I fell into a dark depression while waiting for a new surgery date.

I’m 42 and have been struggling with my weight since I was 12. That’s 30 years of tormenting myself!! I’m ready for this to work. I’m also ready to work to get it.

How long before surgery do you start liquid diet?
My surgery date is 9/24 but I have my pre-op appointment on 9/19. I have yet to start my liquid diet, they haven't told me to start it.

Im doing pretty good! Got home a few hours ago. Still have the gas pain and incisions are tender. I’m afraid to drink anything bc I’m paranoid about drinking too much or not sipping correctly.

I’m in the last hours before surgery. Have to be at the hospital at 7 and surgery is at 9. Can’t wait to be on the other side getting better.

Not every surgeon requires a pre-op diet. To be sure, I would suggest you reach out to their office and ask.
