Mine have faded from the purple to the 1 shade lighter than my skin tone, but now that im finally getting comfortable to flaunt some shorts or a swim suit, i myself a bit self concious about them😔

Frustr8 7,886 Posted August 7, 2018 The old remedy was cocoa butter, Vitamin E or I guess in the US we have Bio-Oil , a lot of people praise it. Check and see if,your chemists in. Oz might have something similar.

These marks have just been there for years!!

Having stretchmarks myself and would love to have another strategy other than "ignore them".
redhead_che 824 Posted September 25, 2018 I just put regular lotion (Jergens) on mine and they’re super faded now that I’m pretty far out from surgery and close to goal. I think any sort of moisturizer will help keep the skin nice and healthy 😊
TakingABreak 2,733 Posted September 25, 2018 (edited) I use bio oil and it works great on scarring and fading (I'd assume stretch marks would be the same). Worth a shot, and its very very cheap! Edited September 25, 2018 by AshAsh1
