mav2126 18 Posted August 2, 2018 I am 4 weeks out from surgery and I am starting to realize that I will lose weight, then stall, then lose weight, then stall, etc. etc. Is stalling constantly just a normal part of this process???
TeeJay84 33 Posted August 3, 2018 I had surgery June 13. I stalled from June 30-July 14. Then from July 21-whenever this second stall finally breaks. 😂 It’s extremely frustrating. I know several people who have success breaking stalls by essentially eating crap for a day then getting back on track. That also worked for me during my weight loss attempt prior to surgery. But I’m not really interested in introducing crap this early, even if it’s just to see if it breaks the stall. Guess I’ll just ride this one out like the first one. All this is to say you’re not alone. Frequent, early stalls are happening to me too.
Bryn910 519 Posted August 3, 2018 Yep. I am almost 3 months out and have had 3 stalls. The weight loss will continue, just gotta stay on the right path

fabianrobot 1 Posted August 4, 2018 I’m 7 months out and have stalled for the last 3 months. Started 275 currently 198. Lost majority of my weight the first 3 months now I’m stuck here and am barely starting to work out to lose what left. My goal weight is 175 so I’m pretty close
She_whirls 204 Posted August 4, 2018 I’ll be 9 months out next week. Stalls seem to be fairly normal. My weight loss looks a lot like sillykitty’s. I’m currently in a nearly month long stall of bouncing between 146.4 and 148.8. It’s driving me crazy but I know it’s temporary. I’ve been amping up my workouts and changing my cardio in an attempt to break it. Fingers crossed! Stalls are hella frustrating but remember to look at the big picture and not focus on the day to day. I know it’s hard to remember when you’re in the mist of it but keep your chin up. Kay07 734 Posted August 4, 2018 I always stall. My current trend is drop 3-5lbs over 3 days, stall for 5-7 days, drop 2-3lbs over 3 days, then stall for 7-10days, then repeat!
