I like the Protein2o Protein waters. They taste like Kool-aid. Not quite as sweet as some of the others, but definitely still sweet. And they don't leave a film in your mouth like Isopure.

Try to add some Mio or other sugar/calorie free flavoring to it, might help.

The only Premier Protein water I was able to get down was the lemonade. I’ve tried others as well and will not buy again. I’m sticking to shakes and New Whey Protein Shots.< br>

If you can tolerate salty things, Bone Broth comes in lots of flavors. chicken is one I can deal with. It’s loaded with Protein and I Water it down because I’m not a huge fan of salted foods/flavors.

Bone Broth is great. I've been testing stuff out pre-surgery so I won't be experimenting too much when I am feeling crummy post-op. I tried one of the Protein Soups (15 grams of protein) but mixing it with 8 oz. of bone broth (10 grams of protein) instead of Water. As many total grams of protein as a shake in a slightly smaller portion and it tastes way better than a shake. The only problem is that this is a high salt combo, so depending on your blood pressure it may not be the way to go.

Protein2o coconut and one of the berry flavors. Taste really good. I don't drink the premixed Protein Drinks. Use powder and mix with Water. Knocks down the fake sweet perfectly but still just a bit creamy.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
