zaid 9 Posted August 1, 2018 I had surgery on the 16th, I misread my meal plans and starting eating soft food a week before than I was asked too. Today I had a couple of cheetos..I know it was a stupid idea to have done so....now I feel like I've stretched my stomach out. Is that possible?Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
RickM 1,752 Posted August 2, 2018 nope, you're not going to stretch it with a couple of cheetos (though those are something you really shouldn't be having now, whatever phase you are in, but we all know that, lol.) A lot of us are on a soft diet from the outset, so it shouldn't be a problem, but do try to follow your surgeon's program, as there may be other reasons for their progression rates. 1 sillykitty reacted to this
BostonWLKC 807 Posted August 2, 2018 I went to soft food a few days out of surgery- you should be fine. Just be careful it’s really soft and it’s mostly about letting your stomach heal at that stage and not popping staples or whatever they use inside your stomach. Get all the yucky yummy food out of your house lol. This is hard enough without temptations around 1 sillykitty reacted to this
