loosing weight but have bigger boobs

Recommended Posts

I'm a visual person and while not necessarily good at drawing, maybe this will help a bit. (Of course, this is just my theory). The picture below has two bodies, each body has the exact same boob. One body is fat, the other is leaner. Notice that as the abdominal fat shrinks the body actually recedes. The band of the bra fits farther back, and more of the actual boob is there to be covered in the cup size.

I'm probably still not explaining this well.

CLose your fist around a straw. You only see part of the straw. Now move your fist down the straw to simulate the body's recession. The straw was the same size all along, but now more of it is exposed because the bosy has receded.

Blah, that's the best I can do. :)

I have to say, I like the booby in the first pic better!

And I wish my booby was as perky as either of those.

I understand. I was wearing my bra to high and now this one fits correctly around the back. I just wish I could wear one of those cute demi-bras. My daughter just talked her father into buying her two of them. I objected but he said "no one will see her in them but her, RIGHT. If that is whet makes her happy then so be it." I think she is still to young at 12 yrs old to be wearing anything like that.

I have to say I've never thought about that, but it does make sense. I will probably go up in cup size too.

BTW, "bigger" boobs does not = "big" boobs. All you Fs and Gs and QQQs and ZZZs. By "cup size bigger" I mean like... a loose C instead of a loose B. Y'all suck. :)

I went to a PS to inquire about breast reduction because all my earlier life I was used to being flat and somewhat thin. after lapand I have gone from 42DD to a 38 DD. Well, that is nice but I'm still too big. My clothes are deterined by my boob size and I don't like this. Wearing a size 12 pants with DD boobs! My first consult with PS said I did not need a reduction, just a lift. The second PS consult said I would benefit from both reduction and lift. He was considered that I might loose more and reduce the cup size.

Now I'm not sure. Maybe I need the lift and that would take care of both problems.

I thik I'll hold off on any of these decisions for a while.

good luck to the rest of you. I'll be watching your progress and hope the best.

I've gone from a 42D to a 38 D so far, i am hoping for a 34C. I would love that.

Jachut, i hear ya on the wide bands lol! with the right bra, it looks as though i have zero back fat, but i got a new 38 d with only 2 hooks on it, and if it is not sitting in the right spot then the fat spills over. lol. It's hard to find a 38 D with a wider band! at least over here in Germany.

My main problem with my boobs, other than they are to big, is that they are flat as a pancake after I take off my bra. They look great in a bra but oh my when I take off that bra my kids could hide under them :heh:and never be found. I would love to have them put back where they belong.

Long ago, a plastic surgeon told me that if you stick a pencil in the crease under your breast and it stays there, then your boobs are sagging too much. According to that standard, I've been sagging since the age of 12.

About the band width, I never wear a bra with less than 4 hooks. If you have large breasts, you need a wider band to support the weight.

I agree completely. I was a small A cup until I had my son. Then over night I went to a DD and never went down again. I breast fed him until he was mo old and then he went to the cup. My daughters were another story. Annie was 2 when she quit nursing and I was nursing Eli and Mary Elizabeth both together for mo Eli was almost 2 when I got her to quit and MaryElizabeth didn't quit until almost 3. So for years of my 16 years of being a parent I have had someone attached to my nipples. No wonder they are pancakes.< /span>

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
