Neversaynever 268 Posted July 29, 2018 I'll kick this off. I had a pair of scales a few years back that told me my body fat was 62%, I doubt it was accurate but you never know. I started this process 2 years ago and it took that long for me to get accepted here on the NHS. My body fat percentage just before my op was 43%. I have lost 54lb (almost 4 stone in the uk) and my body fat is now 40.2. It can only get better from here on in! 1 GreenTealael reacted to this
Diana_in_Philly 1,426 Posted July 29, 2018 My body fat was somewhere around 50% when I started the program (may have been 53% if I remember right). Right now, I'm 2 years out and trying to boost muscle even more - I'm around 31% and headed to 28 as my goal, which for a post-menopausal woman would be outstanding. 1 Neversaynever reacted to this
Neversaynever 268 Posted July 30, 2018 I was just wondering if most people don't have scales that tell you this information?

Bootscraper 56 Posted July 30, 2018 I have a scale that does measure body fat % - Im around 52% (pre surgery). I have heard that scales are not a reliable means of calculating body fat and the only true way is to have it done with calipers.
