I am an emotional eater, too, with a weakness for ice cream, especially at night, when it's the worst time...you helped me understand that these feelings and habits won't be easy to change, and now I also know to expect this to happen, and plan ahead for it. Thanks for helping me. I know the encouragement you get from your friends here will see you through. And I want to thank Leatha (I just love your name, lethalwoman!) for a very well-written pep talk. Road Queen 0 Posted June 24, 2005 Wade, I also sit at a desk all day. It is possible for me to go 9 -10 hours and only get in 100 steps. So I am really trying to incorporate in a few minutes every couple hours. Nobody in my division takes breaks but I've been sneaking out every other day for a 10 minute walk. And trying to get some walking in before work and some after dinner. I don't know if this will help but sometimes out regular exercise routines also put us in a rut.
