Post op 3 days

Hey everyone. I just had my surgery on Monday the 23rd. It went well. I woke up with a lot of pain and apparently had a esophageal hernia they had repaired that I didn't know I had. So of course there was extra pain which gave me the instant regret. I have little to no pain right now just kind of sore. But I would like some words of encouragement. I just I'm kind of scared for what the future has in store if that makes sense. I don't know if anybody else feels like this but I would really appreciate some encouragement.

What surgery did you end up with?
Otherwise, don't worry, it all does get better! I know I had a week or so where I wasn't sure if what I did was the right choice. But, now... I couldn't be happier with the process.

It gets far easier around a week out and then incrementally better from there! You’ve got this :).

Good luck with your weight loss challenge! I only had my surgery on 23rd and I'm apprehensive and excited at the same time. I know I've made a good and positive choice to have this surgery. Here's hoping we get healthier and happier with the work we'll put in! Xx

I had the Gastric sleeve. I think what is making the recovery worse is that I can still feel where they repaired the hernia in my esophagus. I appreciate everyone's encouragement. Thank you all.
