Hi,
Out of all these shakes in the picture which ones do you recommend? I am currently drinking Slim Fast vanilla cream and I CAN’T tolerate it. Please help. Going to get samples from my nutritionist.

None of them. Honestly, I am living for Premier Protein shakes (premade ones). You can get them at Walmart or Sam's Club, and the they are awesome. 30g of Protein, 5g of carbs, only 1g of sugar and they taste great! Especially the chocolate and the caramel!

I very scientifically bought and tasted about 10 different products...had my family taste them, too.:D

Premier Protein, hands down, was the most tolerable (to us, anywho)

Some were truly gagworthy.

Best Wishes!

I love Premier Protein. They have it at Walmart but the costco price is better. More flavors

Actually, I did a comparison between costco and Sam's Club and Sam's is cheaper per drink. But, Costco is cheaper than Walmart, interestingly enough...

Sam's Club - $16.66/12 = $1.39 each

Costco - $28.99/18 = $1.61 each

Walmart - $7.99/4 = $2.00 each

These prices are non-sale prices pulled today from their websites.

My favorite is the chocolate Premier Protein Shake...

If you do caramel you can get them on Amazon cheap. Free shipping with prime:)

https://www.amazon.com/Premier-Protein-Shake-Caramel-Count/dp/B01LNQ2STK/ref=sr_1_3_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1532532156&sr=8-3&keywords=premier%2Bprotein%2Bshake&th=1

$16.66/12.....just like Sam's, but no membership fee. $1.39 each

And delivered to your door, to boot!

(Am still hooked on these as Creamer in my coffee every morning......I dump about a third of a shake in a giant mug of coffee and get 10g or Protein right outta the gate)

Thank you all! I wonder why she doesn’t have Premier Protein as an option. She wrote 20g of Protein and 20g of carbohydrates. I will ask if that’s an okay option. I want to gag every time I drink the slimfast. Not gonna happen.

I looked into the ones sold on Amazon but after looking at the feedback on how some of them arrive, I chose to buy them locally. There are photos of people's orders showing up with shakes broken inside the boxes, shakes expired, and shakes being rotten while not yet expired. The local stores always have a fresh stock, so I'll stick to shopping for them there. Amazon is great for some things, but I try not to buy anything that is liquid from them.

#1 - Premier Protein. Tied at #2 -Isopure ready-made blue raspberry or Jay Robb Dreamsicle or strawberry - Those are the only ones I could stand.

It does say on there use a shake of your own choosing. Those are all powders and not RTD drinks.

It's fine as recommendations but honestly what Protein Powder you use doesn't matter, as long as the macros aren't ****

Does anybody have a picture of the nutrition facts on Premier Protein? Because I need to see how many carbs are in it. Just because it says 1g isn’t true because that’s the “Net”.

Nutritionist told me that Isopure is 0 carbs and I can't drink it. I inquired about it because I wanted something I can drink like a juice instead of a nasty shake. She told me no-go.

I just went to go see her to get some samples of other shakes. She suggested that I take instant coffee and mix it into the shakes since I love coffee. She said it'll kill the taste of the shake.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
