I inquired about it because I wanted something I can drink like a juice instead of a nasty shake. She told me no-go. I don't understand this. It's incredibly easy to add carbohydrates. She wants you to get some carbs have an Isopure and some applesauce after. This makes no sense to me. And isopure is very common postop, hell that's what my hospital gives you while you're there 2 Frustr8 and moondoggie1983 reacted to this

Liquids- Water, Decaf coffee/tea, sugar free popsicles, sugar free Jello. I uploaded the paper. I’m scared To even suggest applesauce. 1 Frustr8 reacted to this
AshMarie794 164 Posted July 26, 2018 I will say I started off buying premier just because it was convenient and everyone else swore by it. I AM NOT LONGER THAT PERSON. I SWEAR by Unjury. It is so good. They even have a chicken Soup Protein mix to use as broth and OMG YUMMMMM! https://www.unjury.com/?tag=Bing_Brand&utm_source=Bing&utm_medium=Branded Paid Search&utm_campaign=Brand 2 Frustr8 and KRush88 reacted to this
E G 36 Posted July 26, 2018 Ladies and gents. I tried Boost chocolate sensation and I love it. She gave me a free sample and I’m just going to stick to it. No experiments here. I’m not the experimental type. 1 Frustr8 reacted to this
Dawn2018 5 Posted July 26, 2018 Hello, As I cannot stomach "protein" shakes, my dietician suggest I try Protein Water. I was not aware they made such a product, but they do I have to say it is much better than a shake Dawn 1 Frustr8 reacted to this
moondoggie1983 202 Posted July 26, 2018 None of them. I did the Optifast program before surgery and they were all decent. Now I use the Isopure Cookies and cream which gets me 50g of Protein in each 2 scoop serving and tastes like a milkshake. Maybe see if you can try a different shake? 1 Frustr8 reacted to this

BeeCat 99 Posted July 27, 2018 My surgeons office doesn’t think very highly of the Premier shakes. I guess the Protein source isn’t as good as milk whey. I like the variety of flavors they offer and the ease of RTD. ☹️ 1 Frustr8 reacted to this

linita 10 Posted July 29, 2018 UMP Protein power is the best. A little pricey but Amazing! Look up their reviews. The Cookies and cream is amazing! 1 Frustr8 reacted to this
Mhy12784 423 Posted July 29, 2018 The last few weeks I've been freezing my Premier Protein shakes, then putting them in a blender with some skim milk, Splenda, and PB2 Peanut Butter powder. Basically like a milk shake But I think freezing premier shakes then putting them in a blender makes them much thicker and more enjoyable. Definitely a poor man's milkshake, and honestly it's more filling as well. The pb2 is just the icing on the cake but coffee will make it like a frappe too 1 Frustr8 reacted to this
KRush88 105 Posted July 29, 2018 Honestly, I've never tried any of these. My favorite is premier. Everything about it is good. While premier is good it’s only 17 servings per can ( powder) & 18 to a case at costco costing 25.99. I would have to buy 4 cases in order to have 3x a day for 30 days. 1 Frustr8 reacted to this

kimberlymi 113 Posted July 29, 2018 My NUT told me when I asked about Premier Protein that it dose not contain the 30g of Protein. I love them so she said to only count them as 20g. The carnation no sugar added is not bad.
