apositivelife4me 189 Posted July 25, 2018 I put an order for roasted almonds on Amazon and wanted to ask if it is ok to eat almonds and other nuts?

What's your nutritionist say about it? Where you cleared for all foods yet? If so, then go for it. For me, at the 2 month mark I was given the go ahead to "try whatever I wanted and if I didn't have an issue with it, I could eat it".

For me, at the 2 month mark I was given the go ahead to "try whatever I wanted and if I didn't have an issue with it, I could eat it". I see the nutritionist on August 2. I was cleared to eat what I want. I just wanted to make sure that my stomach can process nuts. I guess I will need to chew them very well.
Sosewsue61 3,185 Posted July 25, 2018 At that stage I ate nuts, cashews helped with Constipation, but I ate raw almonds as well.
GreenTealael 25,437 Posted July 25, 2018 (edited) If you are cleared to try them then no problem, keep in mind some have additives that boost the already high calorie food. They also *may* be a slider food for you, so carefully track the intake of nuts or you'll be wondering why the scale is not moving Edited July 25, 2018 by Tealael 2 sillykitty and Frustr8 reacted to this
t1018ross 116 Posted July 26, 2018 I started eating nuts at 8 weeks with no problem. I know they can be a slider food for some but they definitely aren't for me. Just be careful how many you eat the first time to see how your sleeve handles it. They fill me up very quickly.
It's about Me 142 Posted July 30, 2018 I am also two months and two weeks post op and I have had pistachios and peanuts with no issues. Just chew them very well.
