I’ve been searching for this recipe to no avail. Do you have a link or instructions? I don’t know how much of each ingredient to use.

My family had Pasta House tonight for dinner. I’m actually the one who got it for everyone because I know the salads are one of my moms favs. Not one to cry in my Cheerios I made zoodles with turkey sausage, sautéd onions and mushrooms , cherry tomatoes and deglazed the pan with a dash of white wine. Was scrumptious !!! (And I’ll be eating it the rest of the week [emoji23]) And sorry no after pic. My daughter came and cleared my plate for me before I got the chance. I ate about 3/4. And I found these appetizer forks of my grammas. Aren’t they adorable??!!

Do you buy your zoodles, or spiralize them yourself? If so, what machine or gizmo do you use to make them? A container at Stop & Shop where I live is $5.00.

I know you weren’t asking me but I want to give you a heads up. I have the Ouddy stainless steel one and I hate it.

I have the veggie pro to make them myself. I’m NOT a gadget person but I use this one ALL the time. It comes with a thick and thin noodle blade and one for making chips. I tried making sweet potatoe chips in my air fryer but the directions I followed on line burnt them to a crisp. I’d like to perfect those.

Half a sandwich for lunch. The ancient grain bread from Trader Joe’s is great: 70 calories, 10 net carbs and 3 grams of Protein.

I ate it all. Very filling 176 calories.

lunch today. I'm so afraid of dumping I won't eat Chinese out any more. So made my own "miracle" stir fry using very little oil, and no sugar and miracle rice. So dang good!!! I forgot to add the chopped almonds/cashews for the pic but they were delish.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
