ms.sss 15,725 Posted April 11, 2022 So my packed salad lunch from last week was getting longing looks from my hike-mates so i am doing them a solid and packing two giant salads to share among us for a another hike this afternoon. 798 calories for the contents of TWO of these. There will be 4 of us sharing this. …converting those around me into salad-believers, one salad at a time..😂 3 Arabesque, GreenTealael and Sophie7713 reacted to this
GreenTealael 25,439 Posted April 11, 2022 (edited) I’m shopping my pantry so I made Cake (semi homemade 😂) I added pure SF glazed donut Syrup and cacao to half the batter to try to marble it (success? Idk) Everyone enjoyed it and didn’t even notice it was sugar free Edited April 11, 2022 by GreenTealael 3 ms.sss, Arabesque and Eagles8120 reacted to this

ms.sss 15,725 Posted April 12, 2022 (edited) Homemade potato Soup + 1/4 of an oven baked pita + an espresso martini (not shown) = 362 calories. Ate it all P.S. This potato soup is ridiculously delicious. Here is the recipe if anyone is interested. Im thinking im going to use it as a base for a seafood or clam chowder in the future. Omg, yum. https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/13218/absolutely-ultimate-potato-soup/ I spilt the recipe in half and there is still so much of it! Will make a 1/4 batch next time cuz its super filling and leftovers will not freeze well. GreenTealael 25,439 Posted April 12, 2022 Stewed chicken w/ potatoes (Caribbean style) with kale and couscous. It was originally supposed to be a curry but I added a little too much brown sugar 😩 Anyone else making their own curries? 2 Arabesque and ms.sss reacted to this
fourmonthspreop 510 Posted April 12, 2022 My eyes are bigger than my stomach...Didn't eat all day and thought you know I could eat a horse, not the case. Ended up eating 1.5 cocktail meatballs, a couple bites of snap pea, a bite of chickpea Pasta and some of the shaved parmesean. Saving the rest for other meals. Got about 15 grams of Protein in those couple of bites. Sent from my SM-G975U using BariatricPal mobile app 3 GreenTealael, Arabesque and ms.sss reacted to this
DaisyAndSunshine 303 Posted April 14, 2022 @ms.sssSince you're most active here, thought to ask you here. I think it's been over an year since your plastics. I was just wondering how are you scars doing? Are they still noticeable or have they faded significantly?
Starwarsandcupcakes 2,071 Posted April 14, 2022 Made a monstrosity of a 3-cheese and onion quiche for dinner tonight. Ate a whole 34g before my stomach said, “yeah, maybe not.” At least I have my blended Protein Shake as backup. 😂🤷♀️ 2 ms.sss and Arabesque reacted to this

I was just wondering how are you scars doing? Are they still noticeable or have they faded significantly? Actually its been over TWO years since i had my plastics trifecta (time flies!) my arm scars have faded alot, but are still visble (and wide…boo ) they are light pink and white, but flat so this is good, especially cuz these scars see the light of day the most. my Tummy Tuck scar is thin and med/dark brownish and still a teeny bit raised in some areas, they dont look raised, but it can be felt when i touch it. Some parts of the line have completely healed and look like normal skin. I joke that my tum scar looks like morse code. My belly button is dark and looks dirty, like i dont clean it or something lol. I often put concealer on it if i know its going to be showing. now my breast lift scars have progressed the least…they are dark reddish brown and noticeably raised at the ends and right under the boobs. This area only had 1 round of steroid shots so I guess it makes sense. No one sees the underboob scars except me and Mr. and neither of us really care. But the ends (near the side flanks) annoy me cuz they can be seen when i wear a halter or bikini top….but i plan to get tattoos to camouflage them, just a matter or time. Oh and these scars are STILL effing itchy! Geez. Sorry this was so long.…and not about food. 😂 Edited April 14, 2022 by ms.sss 1 DaisyAndSunshine reacted to this

Wish there was a laproscopic way for plastics too 😂 Oh well, Tummy Tuck scar can be hidden well but for arms, it'll always be noticeable eh 🥲 Thanks for detailed description, may be if you're comfortable you can post pics under your profile or something one day. 1 ms.sss reacted to this

ms.sss 15,725 Posted April 14, 2022 Yassss! In didn’t overcook it this time!!! Sesame-crusted pan-seared tuna with my leftover salad from yesterday. Sooooo good: 442 calories for the plate. Ate a little more than half, and told Mr. that NO, he CANNOT have my leftovers cuz im totally eating the rest of it when my stomach allows, dammit! 2 Starwarsandcupcakes and Arabesque reacted to this
