ms.sss 15,725 Posted May 4, 2022 I made this salad earlier this afternoon, (311 calories), but then decided i didn’t feel like eating it so put it back in the fridge. Then Mr. grilled up some steaks a couple hours later, so of course preferred to eat that instead, so the salad is gonna stay in the fridge for tomorrow! Rib-eye, roasted potatoes and sautéed portobello mushrooms: 402 calories for the plate/saucer. OmG the steak was so good, i gave it the all-Canadian try, but this is as far as I could get. I already know someone is going to eat it, so im gonna adjust the MFP entry for the steak later. ms.sss 15,725 Posted May 6, 2022 Yep, still woking on that salad i made 3 days ago (and yep, i eat 3-day old leftovers) i ate 1/2 yesterday and just now ate the other half with another scoop of ground beef and some fried garlic: 178 calories for the bowl (I didn’t actually weigh the leftovers, just estimated, based on the data i logged on Wed.) As you can see, i ate it all…3-day old leftovers, yuuuum lol 2 Arabesque and GreenTealael reacted to this

fourmonthspreop 510 Posted May 7, 2022 So this was the Breakfast i made for The Kid this morning. It looked (and smelled) so good that i had to swipe a triangle to eat. Now i am almost never hungry/cravey this early in the morning nor do i eat before noon, but man, toasted brioche bread is like what i think Perfection smells like, if it had a smell. French-style omelette on a slice of toasted brioche which shaved Parmesan. 1 triangle == 91 calories. Already in my tum digesting. Omg this looks so good. I'm not eating breads just yet because of my program but I miss egg on toast more than anything wowwwww yummy Sent from my SM-G975U using BariatricPal mobile app 2 ms.sss and GreenTealael reacted to this
Starwarsandcupcakes 2,071 Posted May 8, 2022 Ordered pizza for the kids after having a Mother’s Day photo shoot with my mom and siblings and giving her the ring my dad ordered for her before he passed away. Still managed a whopping 400 (approximate) calories for what I ate. However, I’m more shocked at the nearly 1300 calories my 7yr old (he’s below weight for his height because he never stops moving!) 3 Arabesque, ms.sss and GreenTealael reacted to this

GreenTealael 25,439 Posted May 8, 2022 It was my BF’s birthday and last year I made a cake that I threw more than half away so this year I bought cupcakes.Of course these are full sugar monstrosities, so only a few bites from me. Honestly they should make these as minis because it’s probably all anyone needs. 3 Arabesque, ms.sss and Spinoza reacted to this

Happy Birthday BF!! 🎉🎂🥳 Re: mini cupcakes (and donuts too for that matter): AGREED on the standardization of the miniture-ality for multi-flavoured Desserts. (YUM to ur pic btw) whenever i buy cupcakes or donuts, i end up cutting out a mini pie-like slice out or ALL of them so i can taste it. I mean, i can’t realistically commit to just one…they are way too big, and there are so many flavours! (Plus..dumping) …then they become “leftovers” and become triggers for all the people who im setting up that support group for you 😇 lololzzz ❤️❤️❤️ Edited May 8, 2022 by ms.sss 1 GreenTealael reacted to this
ms.sss 15,725 Posted May 8, 2022 (edited) Went to brunch this morning (happy mother’s day to all mothers past, present, and future, btw) and i was none too impressed with the eggs benny I ordered, so brunch ended up being 4 mimosas (the glasses were small!) and a couple forkfuls of my mom’s side garden salad. Anyhoo, on the way home I was all, “I want pie”, so Mr. kindly stopped at a bakery and picked me up one of my faves: strawberry Rhubarb! I prefer pastry top crust over the crumble crust of this one, but oh my it was delicious, crumble or no. I drank a sh*t tonne of Water beforehand just in case my tum revolts as it was relatively empty. The Kid ate the stuff left. Starwarsandcupcakes 2,071 Posted May 9, 2022 I finally got around to editing the pictures from yesterday here’s a picture of what I think is a heron as story tax. Also, my mom brought me flowers! Anyway, I still missing my dad terribly so for Mother’s Day dinner I made bibimbap with bulgogi, Lima Beans (not traditional but I like them!), kimchi, sesame bell peppers, over sesame rice (cook rice in rice cooker, when done stir in 1-2 tbsp sesame oil depending on amount of rice and a heavy pinch of salt), topped with a fried egg. I had blueberries as fruit. 435 calories total. Obviously didn’t eat it all but will eventually snack on it later. 2 Arabesque and GreenTealael reacted to this
