Didn’t realize how long it would take! Ended up with a 2-cup sized batch, a large jar of veeeerrrryyyy concentrated ginger tea, and a medium jar of ginger Syrup (which is unbelievably delicious). They aren’t ready yet (supposed to dry out another 24 hours) but I had 2 teeny pieces (3g) and about 1/2 a tsp of the Syrup to taste....im guessing 17 calories total. Never getting store-bought again!! Any specific recipe used ?

The only thing about homemade crystallized ginger is that it can be really intense, though. Sometimes it's fine - but other times it's TOO intense... The intenser the better for me! Though the very concentrated ginger tea yield from the first boil is too strong without some major diluting. I took a tiny sip out of the pot and my throat was spice-burning for like 10 mins. That syrup though! #yum 1 GreenTealael reacted to this

Sam B 16 Posted December 6, 2020 What else you got to do after echocardiogram? My primary care wants to see me for the results and got me so anxious. Anybody can reply! Thanks in advance 1 GreenTealael reacted to this
summerset 5,265 Posted December 6, 2020 The meal I posted a picture of yesterday was only mediocre. Not sure what went wrong this time. Might throw the leftovers out in the end as it doesn't look very appealing. I hate wasting food but I also hate eating foods I don't really like. 2 WishMeSmaller and GreenTealael reacted to this

Anybody can reply! Thanks in advance Is this for approval for WLS or something else? If you are just getting started the Bariatric Surgeon will give you a list of things to do including labs and it seems to very per Surgeon. If it's for pre op clearance your Primary may want to do more testing or refer you to a specialist. If for this is for Plastics it's a whole different list. 1 ms.sss reacted to this
