I thought you swore off watermelon after dumping?

(looks delish btw!)

I know I know

but I feel like my dumping is sooooo unfair that I have to keep trying things to make sure I'm not having a sigular occurrence

My late Breakfast. It’s zucchini, bell peppers, and navy Beans sautéed in some butter and mixed with some Italian dressing.

First meal of the day:
Leftovers! Grilled chicken, grilled sirloin steak, old white cheddar cheese, homemade tzatziki sauce (Spinach & Kale salad w/ homemade low-cal dressing not shown).

Ate it all. Took me well over an hour, but I ate it all.

💝💝 Enlightened Sweet Potato Pie 💝💝

💜💜💜 You will not miss the sugar 💜💜💜

Any flour sub can be used to make the pie crust but i used 100% whole wheat

Crust: 2 cups Whole wheat flour, 1/8cup Water, 1/8 cup olive oil, 2tsp sugar sub, 1tsp pumpkin pie spice, pinch of salt,

Mix thoroughly into dough, roll thin, form crust

Filling: 2 sweet potatoes, 2, eggs, 1oz half and half, 1/16-1/8 cup sugar substitute or to taste depending on type ( I used pyure stevia)

Blend until pureed pour into crust

Bake 350 for 30-45 mins or until firm and set. Let cool with oven to finish cooking process but watch and remove if pie crust is charing/burning.

Okay so I had a craving for miso Soup and sashimi tonite.
Lucky for me, the tuna will make good leftovers for tomorrow

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
