GreenTealael 25,439 Posted January 19, 2019 chicken fried cauliflower rice w/wilted lettuces and carrot ribbons at the request of one of my sisters. I had to make a huge batch and get more ingredients just in case, she loved it so much. I'm surprised. There was plenty of afters but I forgot to take a pic 3 FluffyChix, MIZ60 and Orchids&Dragons reacted to this
BrittneyE 60 Posted January 19, 2019 Tonight was nacho night at our house. No chips or rice for me, but I enjoyed my meal. Prior to surgery I would have put double this amount on my plate and likely eaten it all. Tonight, I had my fill and I may have eaten half what I plated. Taco meat, black Beans, salsa, shredded cheese, sour cream, and melted cheese. 4 FluffyChix, GreenTealael, Orchids&Dragons and 1 other reacted to this

mylighthouse 782 Posted January 20, 2019 What's for dinner? Fathead pizza.... that's right, I said "PIZZAAAA"!!!! Which answers a very frequently asked question here at bariatricpal.... "can I ever have pizza again?". Why YES YOU CAN!!! That is, if you have arrived to the solid food stage after your WLS. I discovered fathead pizza about a year ago. It is absolutely wonderful. It is a VERY low carb/protein crust, and then you top with your choice of toppings. Just google "fathead pizza" if you want the crust recipe. So today, I was really craving pizza. So I went to the grocery store and got what I needed. Turned out I wasn't as hungry as I though I was, but no worries, there will probably be leftovers for the next couple of days, even though I'm sharing the pizza with my son and husband. Toppings are: ground turkey, pepperoni, mozarella cheese, red onion, red pepper, green pepper, and jalepenos. It really was..... OUT OF THIS WORLD! 5 GreenTealael, FluffyChix, Orchids&Dragons and 2 others reacted to this
Naughty Glitter Goddess 645 Posted January 20, 2019 Balsamic rosemary grilled chicken thighs and baked zucchini. Chicken hit me like a brick. Just getting back into eating it after a small break. *It may also have been due to eating a small slice of a sourdough baguette. Sorry but I have to show you these I baked using a sourdough starter we've had going for quite some time. Delicious! Worth it! 3 1 Orchids&Dragons, DaisyChainOz, GreenTealael and 1 other reacted to this

mylighthouse 782 Posted January 20, 2019 @ummyasmin I ddon't know what the exact calorie count was. It was over 200 a slice for a cheese pizza on the fathead crust. I know calories with the cheese/ almond flour crust are fairly high, as it has a lot of mozzarella and a little cream cheese in the recipe. I don't log with myfitnesspal anymore...for now, anyway. Also, the fathead pizza recipe I found didn't tell me how many servings.... it just said "per serving" (?) . But...low carb, high Protein, and delicious! Your cauliflower Pizza Crust pizza looks great....I would eat it and think it wasn't too dark...yum! 2 FluffyChix and Orchids&Dragons reacted to this
