Damn, I feel like I'm playing one of those Sunday morning comics games where you try to find the difference between 2 pictures of the same image. If I ate as little as you do, I'd eat whatever I damn-well wanted too. *sniff*

Yummy looking food though!

I love these meals. I use the Wasa Fiber ones that have the highest fiber for the carbs and it tastes vaguely of sesame. So dang good. I also like the GG Brancrisps. YUM!

That's great, I was just scrolling up and down on that pic and read this. Too funny!! Seriously @sillykitty how do you survive on that small amount of food? It all looks delicious, I think I got a bag of nuts on the last plane I was on.

Looks great, are the zoodles home made?

I used to eat the wasa ones pre surgery but these have fewer ingredients so I decided to give it a go, I like them more. They are harder I think...

I'll have to check em out then! I love fewer ingredients. What's the exact name/variety please?

@kristy2671 be careful of olives, first time i tried them - 6 weeks out, they came back up! I can eat the ripe ones now at 10 months, but green ones, not so much, pickles were fine - no issues

You guys made me literally lol

On the antipasti plate, you guys all missed the artichoke hearts on the right! :P

I actually only ate the antipasti plate until I was sated, not until I felt my restriction. It just wasn't very good . The gyro plate was HUGE, and I couldn't have made much of a dent in it even pre WLS. The fruit and cheese platter is a good example of my average capacity. The scallops and bread are an example of my capacity with slider foods.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
