Dee_Rose 6 Posted July 24, 2018 I am 6 days out from my sleeve surgery. Feeling great! I have a very dear friend coming in town who wants to meet up for dinner in 2 weeks. For reasons I dont even want to go into on here, I do not want to tell her about my WLS. I will be in the “soft foods stage” ... is there somewhere I can go out with her and not blow my cover? Dfox1984 117 Posted July 24, 2018 I’m in the soft food stage now and I can barely eat 1/2 a cup of food at each sitting so it’s going to be hard for ppl not to notice maybe tell her that you haven’t been feeling good and you’ve lost your appetite and you have a dr appt soon? Otherwise, order soft green Beans and mashed potatoes 1 Dee_Rose reacted to this
sillykitty 10,780 Posted July 24, 2018 Soup! Definitely preempt the questions about how little you're eating by making some excuse. Been ill, had a late lunch, something. 1 Dee_Rose reacted to this

Screwballski 540 Posted July 25, 2018 Order Soup or something soft and just say you’re not very hungry. It’s simple.
