jjacobs0816 23 Posted July 23, 2018 so I waited until 2 days prior to surgery to start looking for the gas-x strips that Ive read so much about. It appears that these are not made anymore. Not available on Amazon, ebay, or any other website. Do they make something similar or liquid form? Im sure if I spend money on something I will most likely not need it..... Lisa K. 62 Posted July 23, 2018 You can get Mylicon drops (simethicone liquid) at any drugstore. They even come in generic or house brand and are usually called "infant gas relief drops." The hospital gave me my bottle and I still use it. It's been a lifesaver for the gas!
jjacobs0816 23 Posted July 23, 2018 Never even thought about the infant ones. What dosage do you use for an adult?

The adult dose is two of the droppers filled to the 0.6 ml line. It was my best friend for the first few days. 1 jjacobs0816 reacted to this
ChaosUnlimited 559 Posted July 23, 2018 I used gas-x chewables, but they are $$, better if you can find generic simethicone chewables.
