kygirl68 58 Posted July 22, 2018 I will be discussing this with the nutritionist this week but I would like to see what everyone here has to say. In my paperwork I was given on my original visit I read that regarding Protein powders/shakes they recommend protein "isolate" being the first ingredient. Then they gave a list of brands they recommend with Premier Protein being one of them. However when I look up the nutritional info it says "milk protein concentrate" not "isolate"...from what I've read online, isolate has the highest % of protein over concentrate. What have you all been told??? 1 Frustr8 reacted to this
piacovetto@gmail.com 25 Posted July 23, 2018 I just read about that too and saw that Premier Protein is the concentrate form not the isolate. The isolate has better amino acids which are the building blocks of Protein. I do not remember the science difference between the two but it’s significant. I have 2 Premier shakes left and I’m switching forevermore and AMEN!! BTW-the nutritionist I see was ok with Premier but I think I’ll bring it up now that I know about it. 2 kygirl68 and Frustr8 reacted to this
