Linus 6 Posted July 21, 2018 I had a sleeve in October 2017 and I'm down about 110 pounds after nine months. Everything is going great so far except tail bone pain. I have lost enough weight in my rear that whenever I sit I press on my tailbone causing pain. The Dr said it was common and told me to get a pillow made for that. I also went to an orthopedic surgeon for steriod shots but no luck. I can't sit more than 10 minutes at a time and this has affected my quality of life. Does anyone have any suggestions. mgt3boys 24 Posted July 21, 2018 I have a cushion that has the tail bone area cut out so you’re not putting pressure on it
Linus 6 Posted July 21, 2018 I have several of the cushions with the U shaped cutout but while they help I still have pain when I sit down. I have even thought about having surgery to remove the coccyx however the prognosis isn't good with a 6 month recovery. Thanks.
