I’m 3 weeks two days post and tried an omelette with grilled chicken and spinach. I thought I chewed enough and didn’t I ended up throwing up everything Lovely. 1 Frustr8 reacted to this
Screwballski 540 Posted July 24, 2018 I scrambled one soft at 3 weeks. Ate it. Was full for several hours. End of story. 😄 1 1 BostonWLKC and soph504 reacted to this
Lisa K. 62 Posted July 24, 2018 I had one soft scrambled this morning. Whipped it with some Fairlife milk until fluffy and barely scrambled it. Was a little rough about an hour later but not awful. 1 Frustr8 reacted to this
bobt1 29 Posted July 27, 2018 Sounds like we are all different. eggs was one of my early go to foods. Soft scrambled with a little milk mixed in to start. After a couple weeks I started adding some shredded cheese. The blended/pureed egg salad with only seasoning to start off. Then added a little Pickle Juice for more flavor and then grew to adding relish and onions. 2 insta_adventurer and Frustr8 reacted to this
insta_adventurer 1,046 Posted July 27, 2018 My first soft food this morning was egg salad. I made it with light mayo, mustard, paprika, onion powder, white pepper, black pepper and salt. It was the best teaspoon and a half of egg salad I have ever had in my life. 2 Frustr8 and Luzbella reacted to this
Frustr8 7,886 Posted July 27, 2018 I hate, loathe and abominate commercial egg salad, but your recipe I am willing to put my previous feelings aside and try it. Maybe the former ones were just poorly made, I do like scrambled eggs so I will give it a shot!👈😟👉 1 insta_adventurer reacted to this
Frustr8 7,886 Posted July 27, 2018 And a little FYI for you all. Remember I have lived forever, well a VERY LONG TIME and like many of my age group I think I have an answer for Everything. Way back when I was a Young FrustaMama with 3 little Frustababies the first egg portion th3 babies were started on was hard boiled egg yolk, reasoning was it had more good value and less allergenic than egg whites. Fast forward 30-40 years, Bariatric and other doctors are saying egg whites first, egg yolks nasty and contain cholesterol. Old saying: No matter how long the world lasts everything remains the same. Sure didn't happen HERE! Who'd a thunk it would be THAT way?👈😕👉

But yes- it is delicious! Also- I really, really love seasoning things and am not a fan of bland food! 1 Frustr8 reacted to this
MeanSleevedMachine 277 Posted July 28, 2018 eggs if they are scrambled still make me nauseous. I can eat them fried or boiled. But if I eat them scrambled they tear me up. The only food that does that, too. 1 Frustr8 reacted to this

I did poached eggs at 4 weeks and had no problem, and moved on to scrambled eggs at 5 weeks and now at 13 weeks I about gag on any egg. So sad as eggs were a big part of my pre OP diet as I lived for 16 years on high Protein low carb diet as a diabetic. Good luck! 1 Frustr8 reacted to this
wjgo 272 Posted July 28, 2018 I went straight to scrambled eggs. No problem. I find two eggs are a good normal meal. Try one..Be sure to add a bunch extra milk when mixing it up so the eggs are extra fluffy..Sent from my XT1609 using BariatricPal mobile app 1 Frustr8 reacted to this

dillydog 73 Posted July 29, 2018 Loved eggs all my life but couldn’t do them after surgery, they were horrible in any form. 10 months later I can enjoy them again and do almost daily.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 Frustr8 reacted to this

Letsgetgoing2018 448 Posted July 29, 2018 Just tried regular scrambled with some milk. Waiting to see if they are tolerated by my gut. 1 Frustr8 reacted to this
