ahendry1982 1 Posted July 19, 2018 Hello. My surgery date was 7/17/18. I just came home yesterday, and I was still ok on pain. I woke up this morning and every muscle in my body hurt. Is this normal? I know I was kept pretty doped up in the hospital after but, i was just a little worried by how weak I was and how sore... a little incite from people who have been here too would help my nerves a little. Thanks.Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app

It'll go away. Being weak, tired and sore after major surgery is completely expected.

Don't rush, don't stress, don't worry, just relax, follow your instructions to the best you can and REST REST REST! (outside of doing some walking every hour).
