123mollie 13 Posted July 11, 2018 I was finally sleeved yesterday. My incisions don’t hurt much.. it’s the gas stuck and not releasing that is causing me MAJOR pain. How long until it’s able to pass? I’m so uncomfortable. They’ve given me gas drops— didn’t help. I’ve walked 10 laps around my hospital floor— no help! It won’t pass out of either end! Ahhhhhh help! Dorothy_Correz 17 Posted July 11, 2018 My gas was really bad. I had my husband literally burp me like a baby and rub my back and shoulders. This helped to release some of the gas. For me it took a couple of weeks before the gas pain went away. Hope you feel better soon.
