A big thank you

I just wanted to give a shout out to every person and or lady that commented on my post yesterday who gave me words of encouragement advice and so on thank you thank you thank you I woke up this morning and scheduled an appointment to see my surgeon who did my sleeve in order to get me some help to see a counselor to work on my deeper issues I also down loaded an app to help me do a food journal and to keep up with my calories carbs fats and Protein I also called The Aquatic Center and made an appointment to start swimming exercises I just wanted to say thank you today is a much better day you guys have been awesome in me taking the courage to take these steps in order to get the weight off again thank you thank you thank you

Thank you I hope it does too I'm really taking it serious and being very mindful just taking one moment at a time one day at a time trying to make good choices and I hope that the work pays off and this weight comes off[emoji5]

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

      Sleeve surgery is on April 14th.  I am counting the days!!  Can't wait!

        Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
