Good Day,

Could we get some updates to the app please? Specifically could we get all the profile options we have on the webpage added to the app? So App only users can add or update their surgical status, progress, etc?

Thanks!

I have complained before but nothing seems to have happened. As an example I will be having surgery September 5th, I cannot get it to enter. Yet it says I had surgery in 2014 and I wasn't even active on Bariatric Pal at that time and I can't delete that. I'm about, ready to close each posting with all my facts over and over un

untill everyone screams . So here we go
Hw355. CW321 SW to be determined SD 9/05/2018 Location Ohio State University- Wexner Medical Center in Columbus Ohio with my surgeon Dr Bradley J Needleman 7Am EDT
Type of surgery RnY bypass and Hiatal Hernia repair
And those are my true stats along with the fact I have been an active Bariatric Pal member since December 2017. Any other facts on my profile are erroneous except, that I am a Wonderful Person. Probably. it doesn't say that anyway!

You can add those to your signature block...

How MattZ? I dont' seem to have any real abilities running on the Android Beta style app Ken S convinced me I needed. Have never attempted righting it on a normal computer, figured if I did it would technologically snicker at me, say " you are already using another device, you cannot, use 2 at once" then I have to sign out of here, hope Bariatric Pal will accept me on an additional device which it may not , try to to remember my password to sign back in. if I was electonically brilliant, I wouldn't be in this stew anyway. Remember while you younger people are zipping along I am at a virtual" one finger hunt and, peck stage" Saying,GD I KNOW I can do this if it starts making sense soon!💦Tears of Frustration👎

you can totally use both at the same time... no issues at all doing so.

But you can update your signature on the app as well, it's in Settings. But I don't know if it's as large as what you are given when you use the web page.

So... any one from the site is going to chime in on this request? Seems like a pretty reasonable request to expect the App and Site to provide a similar user experience.

I'm still shocked that those that monitor this board... haven't bothered to even say "hey, we are looking into this"... the lack of any feedback from the site staff is astounding. I've moderated boards for a few games for years... we'd have been "talked to" if we let a site request hang like this for this long.

Did you get blacklisted?

I don't think so, Haven't done anything that would warrant that action.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
